kim-dimaio-mainstreetvet

Kim DiMaio, VMD
Owner | Veterinarian

My name is Dr. Kimberly DiMaio and I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.  I grew up in Schwenksville and I am so excited to care for the pets in my community. It has been a dream of mine to own a veterinary clinic where I can give personalized attention to my patients. I proudly practice fear free medicine and have an interest in internal medicine, behavior and geriatrics.

I live with my husband Frank and my two teenage boys Frankie and Luca. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking and cheering on my boys on the baseball field, soccer field and basketball court.

 â€‹

I am also a very passionate advocate for pit bulls. I am a pet mom to our pocket pit Ruby and our Staffordshire terrier Pancake. Our family also fosters pit bull puppies. We all share our home with Skylar, a kitty who was rescued by my son Frankie in a snow storm!

I also spend time volunteering for New Leash on Life, an organization that rescues dogs from shelters and puts them into a prison program where they are trained and then placed in loving homes.

Kara Stover, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Kara Stover is thrilled to be a part of the Main Street Vet family and we are so glad to have her!

Kara truly and sincerely loves every client and patient that walks through our doors with her whole heart. She is slow to judge, quick to hug and is very generous with doggy and kitty snacks! When she is not loving on patients at the office, she is home with her husband Eric and 3 sons, Will, Jonah and Sam. They share their home with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens, a leopard gecko and some fish. In addition to spending time with her family, Dr. Stover enjoys gardening, hiking and volunteering.

Dr. Stover is a 1993 graduate of Souderton Area School District, a 1997 graduate of Albright College and a 2001 graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stover loves all areas of veterinary medicine but has a special fondness for dentistry, behavior and geriatrics.

Bethany
Operations Manager

Hi there! My name is Bethany and I’ve spent the last 14 years working in Veterinary Medicine in a variety of capacities. I love the passion and drive for excellence that encompasses the veterinary field.  I have a BA in Psychology and love putting my love of all things “people” to work each and every day. Professionally, I thrive when I can help others excel in their unique roles, and help a team build systems and processes together that help them confidently be their best.

Personally, I spend most of my free hanging out with my husband chasing our three busy boys and working on house projects. I am passionate about health and wellness, attempting (and usually failing) at gardening, and playing mini-homesteader with a few backyard ducks and chickens.

I am so excited to be a part of Main Street Vet and the mission to deliver truly exceptional service to the patients and clients we care for all, while supporting a team that thrives and grows to their full potential.

Katie, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician

My name is Katie. I received my BS degree from Messiah College in 2017, my Veterinary Nursing degree from Harcum College in 2019, and became a Certified Veterinary Technician that same year. I've always loved animals and knew I was called to this field from a young age. In the past I've volunteered with wildlife, done collegiate field research on endangered frogs, and traveled abroad to study biodiversity and ecosystems in Central America and Southeast Asia.

In my free time I enjoy drawing, hiking, bird watching, traveling, watching movies, and trying new foods. I'm excited to be a part of the Mainstreetvet.net team and look forward to meeting you!

I live with my husband, Jerry,  and 2 teenage kids, Emily and Jacob.  Our furry family consists of Rosie, a mixed breed rescue, 2 cats, Simon and Garf and 2 guinea pigs, Fred and George.

Rylee

Client Care Specialist

My name is Rylee and I have lifelong experience caring for an array of pets, including cats & dogs, livestock, and wildlife. I grew up on farm property where my family and I would spend our time playing with our dogs, exploring the woods & the creek, and go-carting around the yard.

My involvement in Pennsylvania’s 4-H Agricultural Program, rescuing injured wildlife & stray animals, and working at Tiny Miracles Petcare and Rescue amplified my love for animals, and encouraged me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine after having been an art teacher and video game designer for years prior.

Never did I think I would experience as much human-to-human and human-to-animal connection as I do every day in this field. I get so much fulfillment from being there for pet owners who want to give nothing but the world to their pets, from feeding them their first doggie-cookie at their puppy visit or their first Hershey kiss at their last.

Jade

Veterinary Assistant

Hi, my name is Jade. I’ve been working in veterinary medicine for 3 years. I’m excited to learn more from schooling and my amazing colleagues.

I enjoy connecting with our patients and their parents. Meeting different patients’ personalities is one of my favorite parts. Also, working in a family oriented and calm environment truly shows through to our patients. It allows them to feel heard. Animals deserve to feel heard even without a voice and our team will forever advocate for them.

The life of animals doesn’t end after work. I get hounded by my cat, BMO, as soon as I walk into the door. BMO likes running into walls and eating my food when i’m not looking. He also likes attacking my feet at 3am. My 17 year old Pomeranian, Bubby, can no longer hear, so she enjoys to bark at things that do not exist (she’s a little confused). Then right outside are 2 wild Mustangs, Topanga and Koda, that have just recently been rescued by my Mom. The party of animals will forever be my life and I’m very grateful for it.

Brianna
Veterinary Assistant

Hi my name is Brianna and my love for animals started at a very young age.  It brought me such happiness to help and care for them whether it be my own, a wild animal I found or someone else’s pet. I decided to take my passion for animals a step further and joined the veterinarian world.

I am now 8 years in and working side by side with a doctor to help care for your fur babies. I love to be a part of keeping them safe, healthy and happy. In my free time I like to be outdoors, kayaking, fishing, spending time with my family, friends and my other half Andrew with our dog and two cats.

I live with my boyfriend in Quakertown and we have two dogs named Roo and Tigger along with two cats named Ollie and McCoy. In my spare time I enjoy visiting local breweries and taking hikes with the dogs.

I’m very excited to be a part of the Main Street team and am looking forward to meeting clients and getting to know everyone.

Chloe

Veterinary Assistant

Hi! My name is Chloe. I have loved animals ever since I can remember. I've worked with horses the majority of my life, but made the change to small animals a couple years ago. Being in vet med has given me the opportunity to help a variety of different animals.

I am committed to providing our patients and clients with a positive experience every time they come in by creating a calm and welcoming environment for both them and their pets. I'm here to make sure their visit is as smooth and stress-free as possible. I'm passionate about preventative care, client education, and building trust with both animals and their owners. I especially enjoy working with exotics such as reptiles and small mammals.

In my free time you can find me on the water, boating and fishing with my boyfriend. I enjoy spending every minute I can outdoors. My pet pack consists of Poppy, a hairless rat, Vike, a leopard gecko, Mochi a Pacman frog, and Hermie, a hermit crab. I also love decorating and designing aquariums for my fish. I love every aspect of working at Main Street Vet and I'm so lucky to be a part of their team!

Tink
Client Care Specialist

Yup, you read that right - my name is Tink. I started working at veterinary hospitals at fifteen and continued for nearly a decade. I earned my BS in Biology from Penn State while working as a vet tech; and did my graduate studies at Gwynedd Mercy for Secondary Education.

After a few years teaching, I left to stay home with my kids - where I’ve been until I started here at MainStreetVet! I tell everyone I loved this clinic so much I got a job here, and it’s totally true. And lucky for me, I also love working here.

My life outside of MainStreetVet is pretty sweet - I married my favorite person ever and we have three crazy boys, three crazier dogs, and a cozy couch where we snuggle up and watch the Steelers (well, I watch the first half and then fall asleep). I love pretty much anything artsy; I’ve always got music playing (most often Jason Mraz); I can talk about Jim Henson for days; I know every line of Mary Poppins and I watch true crime documentaries to lull me sleep.

I can’t wait to greet you at the clinic - I especially can’t wait to pet your dog. 😊
