Our Team - Souderton, PA

Kim DiMaio, VMD
Owner | Veterinarian
My name is Dr. Kimberly DiMaio and I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. I grew up in Schwenksville and I am so excited to care for the pets in my community. It has been a dream of mine to own a veterinary clinic where I can give personalized attention to my patients. I proudly practice fear free medicine and have an interest in internal medicine, behavior and geriatrics.

I live with my husband Frank and my two teenage boys Frankie and Luca. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking and cheering on my boys on the baseball field, soccer field and basketball court.

I am also a very passionate advocate for pit bulls. I am a pet mom to our pocket pit Ruby and our Staffordshire terrier Pancake. Our family also fosters pit bull puppies. We all share our home with Skylar, a kitty who was rescued by my son Frankie in a snow storm!
I also spend time volunteering for New Leash on Life, an organization that rescues dogs from shelters and puts them into a prison program where they are trained and then placed in loving homes.

Kara Stover, DVM

I truly and sincerely love every client and patient that walks through our doors with my whole heart. I am slow to judge, quick to hug and very generous with doggy and kitty snacks! When I am not loving on patients at the office, I am home with my 3 sons, Will, Jonah and Sam. We share our home with 1 dog, 3 cats, and 4 chickensIn addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy gardening, hiking and volunteering.
I am a 1993 graduate of Souderton Area School District, a 1997 graduate of Albright College and a 2001 graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. I love all areas of veterinary medicine but have a special fondness for dentistry, behavior and geriatrics.

Amanda, CVT
Practice Manager
Hi, I’m Amanda! I discovered my passion for veterinary medicine 18 years ago, when I started as a veterinary assistant. I continued to expand my knowledge and experience in the field, becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2015 and a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2025.
This journey has helped me appreciate that, in order to help animals, you need to help people first. My goal every day is to support and educate our amazing clients and our compassionate team of veterinary professionals, so that they can help pets receive the best possible medical care.
Outside of work, you will find me enjoying the outdoors with my partner, Brian. Our family includes Beastie, an orange tabby, and two Rottweilers, Wilma and Aion.

Andrea, CVT

I received my Veterinary Nursing Degree from Harcum College in 2008, and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2009. You will find that I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but my special interests include dermatology and surgery.
I have a special fondness for all bully breeds, but especially English Bulldogs. I currently reside in Royersford, Pa with my husband, Shawn and our 2 bulldogs Marcy and Maverick. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, watching a good movie, and spending time with my family and friends.

Bethany
Operations Manager
Hi there! My name is Bethany and I’ve spent the last 14 years working in Veterinary Medicine in a variety of capacities. I love the passion and drive for excellence that encompasses the veterinary field. I have a BA in Psychology and love putting my love of all things “people” to work each and every day. Professionally, I thrive when I can help others excel in their unique roles, and help a team build systems and processes together that help them confidently be their best.

Personally, I spend most of my free hanging out with my husband chasing our three busy boys and working on house projects. I am passionate about health and wellness, attempting (and usually failing) at gardening, and playing mini-homesteader with a few backyard ducks and chickens.
I am so excited to be a part of Main Street Vet and the mission to deliver truly exceptional service to the patients and clients we care for all, while supporting a team that thrives and grows to their full potential.

Katie, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
As a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2019, I am passionate about helping animals live healthy, happy lives and supporting the people who love them. I earned my Veterinary Nursing degree from Harcum College and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Messiah University, and I feel fortunate to combine my education with a career dedicated to animal care.
I strive to build trusting relationships with both patients and their families, understanding that every pet is a cherished member of the family. Whether providing nursing care, client education, or emotional support during challenging times, my goal is to ensure that pets receive compassionate, high-quality care while helping their owners feel informed and supported.
My love for animals extends beyond the clinic. I have worked in wildlife rehabilitation and participated in biodiversity and ecosystem study in Central America and Southeast Asia, experiences that deepened my appreciation for the incredible diversity of life and the importance of conservation.

Alison, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
My name is Alison. I grew up in southern NJ and graduated from Camden County College’s Veterinary Nursing Program in NJ in 1999. I then acquired a BS in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley University and have been practicing in PA ever since.
I live with my husband, Jerry, and 2 teenage kids, Emily and Jacob. Our furry family consists of Rosie, a mixed breed rescue, 2 cats, Simon and Garf and 2 guinea pigs, Fred and George.
I enjoy every aspect of veterinary medicine and look forward to helping Main Street Vet’s clients and patients.

Rylee
Client Care Specialist
My name is Rylee and I have lifelong experience caring for an array of pets, including cats & dogs, livestock, and wildlife. I grew up on farm property where my family and I would spend our time playing with our dogs, exploring the woods & the creek, and go-carting around the yard.
My involvement in Pennsylvania’s 4-H Agricultural Program, rescuing injured wildlife & stray animals, and working at Tiny Miracles Petcare and Rescue amplified my love for animals, and encouraged me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine after having been an art teacher and video game designer for years prior.
Never did I think I would experience as much human-to-human and human-to-animal connection as I do every day in this field. I get so much fulfillment from being there for pet owners who want to give nothing but the world to their pets, from feeding them their first doggie-cookie at their puppy visit or their first Hershey kiss at their last.

Jade
Veterinary Assistant
Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and that passion led me to a career in veterinary medicine. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for through every stage of life. I also love building relationships with clients and hearing the stories that make their pets so special.
At home, I am a proud cat mom to Oscar, who has been one of my greatest inspirations throughout my veterinary journey. He is truly the light of my day and has taught me so much about the special bond we share with our pets. As a pet with ongoing medical needs, Oscar has given me a deeper understanding of the emotions, challenges, and unconditional love that come with caring for an animal. Because of him, I approach every patient and their family with even greater compassion and empathy.
I am grateful for the opportunity I have and look forward to getting to know the wonderful pets and families in our community.

Alexa
Client Care Specialist
Hello! My name is Alexa, and I have been working in the veterinary field for the past four years. My love and passion for animals started at a young age. Animals have always brought me so much joy! Growing up, I was always trying to bring home any stray animal I came across (my mom loved that!).
Not only have I cared for my own animals, but I have also spent years caring for other people’s pets.
A little about me: I’m local to the area and currently don’t have any fur babies of my own, but my dream is to someday have a farm! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, attending live music events, kayaking, going to rodeos, and trying new restaurants and foods.
I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! My favorite part of every day is seeing which little friend is going to walk through the door next.

Lauren
Veterinary Technician
My name is Lauren and I am a vet tech! I am completely self taught and have learned and continue to learn everyday. I spent a large portion of my life working with horses and decided to make the change to small animals a few years ago.
I live with my husband in Quakertown and we have two dogs named Roo and Tigger along with two cats named Ollie and McCoy. In my spare time I enjoy visiting local breweries and taking hikes with the dogs.
I’m very excited to be a part of the Main Street team and am looking forward to meeting clients and getting to know everyone.

Chloe
Veterinary Assistant
Hi! My name is Chloe. I have loved animals ever since I can remember. I've worked with horses the majority of my life, but made the change to small animals a couple years ago. Being in vet med has given me the opportunity to help a variety of different animals.
I am committed to providing our patients and clients with a positive experience every time they come in by creating a calm and welcoming environment for both them and their pets. I'm here to make sure their visit is as smooth and stress-free as possible. I'm passionate about preventative care, client education, and building trust with both animals and their owners. I especially enjoy working with exotics such as reptiles and small mammals.
In my free time you can find me on the water, boating and fishing with my boyfriend. I enjoy spending every minute I can outdoors. My pet pack consists of Poppy, a hairless rat, Vike, a leopard gecko, Mochi a Pacman frog, and Hermie, a hermit crab. I also love decorating and designing aquariums for my fish. I love every aspect of working at Main Street Vet and I'm so lucky to be a part of their team!

Tink
Client Care Specialist
Yup, you read that right - my name is Tink. I started working at veterinary hospitals at fifteen and continued for nearly a decade. I earned my BS in Biology from Penn State while working as a vet tech; and did my graduate studies at Gwynedd Mercy for Secondary Education.
After a few years teaching, I left to stay home with my kids - where I’ve been until I started here at MainStreetVet! I tell everyone I loved this clinic so much I got a job here, and it’s totally true. And lucky for me, I also love working here.

My life outside of MainStreetVet is pretty sweet - I married my favorite person ever and we have three crazy boys, three crazier dogs, and a cozy couch where we snuggle up and watch the Steelers (well, I watch the first half and then fall asleep). I love pretty much anything artsy; I’ve always got music playing (most often Jason Mraz); I can talk about Jim Henson for days; I know every line of Mary Poppins and I watch true crime documentaries to lull me sleep.

I can’t wait to greet you at the clinic - I especially can’t wait to pet your dog. 😊
